Now Open until June 3rd!
CultureHouse East Somerville has officially opened its doors at 20 Broadway!
Over the next month, the pop-up will play host to multiple local businesses, artists, creatives, organizations, and non-profits. They have a variety of events scheduled for you and your families to take part in! Here’s a sample of the next two weeks:
Week 1
Celebrate the opening week with complimentary beer samples from Small Change Brewing Company and some snacks. As you’re visiting Broadway for Open Studios this weekend, be sure to stop by the pop-up for a flower printing workshop with Bluebird Bouquets.
Week 2
Be a part of the conversation with the City of Somerville around participatory budgeting, what is it, and how can you be a part of it! You can RSVP for this event at the link – https://forms.gle/Sdjzw2XGQ7YKpz3i6
If you are walking around during Porchfest and are looking for a place to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink, stop by the pop-up to try out Lilybird Coffees’ new slushie and some fun-infused drinks with Demo Bar.
The pop-up will be open Wednesday – Sunday, from 1 pm - 8 pm. Even if there are no events happening, the pop-up will always be open with games, arts and crafts activities, and space to hang out!

In order to reconnect the East Somerville community in the wake of the ongoing pandemic, CultureHouse East Somerville will transform a vacant storefront into a community-driven pop-up public space. The pop-up will rebuild social connections, reduce loneliness, boost commercial district vibrancy, and create equitable neighborhood development.
