Interview with Laura Vivenzio (Feb.,24,2020)
Laura recently worked with Fadil African Hair Braiding to redesign their brand new logo (pictured to the right), Laura has also worked with East Somerville Main Streets and other small businesses located in East Somerville.
How long have you been working as a graphic designer?
-
I've been working in graphic design since 2004, so about sixteen years now. I attended the New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University.
You have worked with Hair-gineer and Fadil African Hair Braiding and both designs are great and loved by your clients, what is your favorite thing about your designing process?
-
Since I was not very familiar with these two local businesses before working on their designs, my favorite part of the design process is to speak with the owners to get ideas from them on how they envision their brand (i.e. specific colors or images they'd like to see) as a starting point.
Do you offer reduced fares to small business owners? What are your rates?
-
I definitely offer reasonable rates to all clients. Small business owners can feel free to reach out to me at any time and we can chat about whatever projects they have in mind. I'm positive they will be happy with the rates I charge!
What kind of design work do you offer? Flyers, signs, etc.?
-
I mainly work in print design, offering services such as logo design, posters, fliers, business card/ stationery sets, signage, banners, etc. For larger businesses I've also designed annual reports & catalogs.
What’s a good way to contact you?
-
Folks can email me at lvivenzio@gmail.com anytime to get started. Let's chat about your design project!
